About Danny

Writer/Producer/Director – Entrepreneurial Filmmaker

An entrepreneur from a young age Danny has been self-employed since he left school. After spending 17 years working as a local radio presenter (including stations in Leeds, York, Isle of Man, Wakefield and other locations across the north of England) he went on to set up multi-media production company Stada Media in Leeds, which produces films, music video and video for corporate clients.

Over the last few years Danny has worked hard to educate himself on the art of filmmaking and shot his first short feature at the end of 2009. The short horror, Angel of the Night, was produced for no budget and made it into the final ten in the recent short film competition run by television channel Zone Horror.

Danny has incredibly ambitious plans for his film making career over the next few years, including winning an Oscar in the short action film category. The unique aspect of Danny’s journey is the way in which he shares every element of his progress via his popular blog, Twitter, weekly live show (a first for a film maker) and various other websites.

A very well planned and focused strategy will see Danny establish himself as a respected film maker over the next five years, working on several short and feature length films.
